Monterosso is the only village for a proper beach day — Fegina and the beach by the old town. Vernazza has a small harbour beach, Corniglia the separate Spiaggione, while Manarola and Riomaggiore offer rocky swimming spots, not sand. Some Monterosso beach clubs take online bookings (e.g. Bagni Eden); free beach space can’t be reserved, so arrive early in July. There’s no official price list — clubs price by row and date. The 5 Terre Express runs frequently in season (14 March–1 November 2026) but midday trains and beaches are crowded: go early or late.
